DA PACHECO LAUDS 10 MURDER CONVICTIONS IN 6 DAYS
RIVERSIDE, CA - Riverside County District Attorney Rod Pacheco announced today that
Deputy District Attorneys in Riverside County have obtained guilty murder convictions
on 10 defendants over the course of six days.
"We have never seen such an achievement in such a short period of time before," said
District Attorney Rod Pacheco. "These remarkable convictions are the result of the hard
work of the entire law enforcement community in very difficult cases."
Between July 29, 2009 and August 3, 2009, the following 10 people were convicted of
murder in Riverside County:
- Deputy District Attorney William Robinson obtained two murder convictions in the
case of Ralph Jamie Rojas and Daniel Anthony Ruvacaba, RIF136340.
- Deputy District Attorney Ambrosio Rodriguez obtained a murder conviction is the
case of Robert Thomas Finley, RIF136966.
- Deputy District Attorney Amy Barajas obtained a murder conviction in the case of
Ruperto Lopez Rojo, RIF142794.
- Deputy District Attorney Victoria Weiss obtained a murder conviction in the case
of Efrain Soltero Gutierrez, INF054424.
- Deputy District Attorney Daniel DeLimon obtained two murder convictions in the
case of Dayana Cordova and Anna Alejandra Salinas, SWF023165.
- Deputy District Attorney Christopher Cook obtained three murder convictions in
the case of Cesar Anai Rangel, Julio Cesar Cruz and Martin Marguia, RIF121996
"In spite of all of the budget cuts and limited resources our prosecutors continue to get
the job done," said Pacheco. "Our hard working dedicated prosecutors will continue to
convict those who seek to victimize our community."
