Child Recovery Unit
Lennard's Successful Recovery

Photo of Christian and LennardClaudia, the mother, had several criminal convictions in Germany (forgery, check-kiting, identity theft) and was fleeing warrants when she took her son and came to the U.S. While in the U.S., she used the internet to show a fetching photo of herself in peasant garb and would snare men to be kind to her. She overstayed a year in the U.S. and lived in several states (Connecticut, New Hampshire, Texas, and California), finally landing in Riverside County. All of this with 4-year-old Lennard in tow.

Dad, a Berlin firefighter, who tried everything to get his son back, got nowhere until he encountered our Child Recovery Unit. His letter of thanks to the deputy district attorney in charge of the Unit says it all:

Photo of Christian and Lennard"Since Wednesday 10:45 am local time, we are back in Germany. We both are very tired but very happy. I want to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR HELP! I think I am the happiest father of the world. Lennard is fine...he likes my girlfriend and her daughter too. He got a nice new bed...he's sleeping very well. My parents are very happy, too. They and my friends were standing at the Berlin airport when we arrived. It was a big party.

In this email you get two pictures of Lennard and myself. If you anytime want to visit Berlin, you only tell me when you will come here. I and my friend Nils, who helped me out with everything during our trip, will enjoy your visit. We can show you Berlin and give a hotel room to you.

Thank you ... Christian and Lennard"
