Joined the District Attorney's Office - 2003

Created by District Attorney Rod Pacheco in November 2006, it is the Executive Division's responsibility to oversee all office events, programs, publications, and release of public information. The purpose of the Executive Division is to raise awareness of the District Attorney's role in the criminal justice system and in the community through education, insight and an open dialogue.

Contributions of the Executive Division:

  • Victims
    • Victims' Rights Week, Walk-A-Mile, the Victim Rights Manual, and videos such as "A Victim's Voice Will Be Heard," has helped victims see that they are not alone in the criminal justice system and will never be forgotten.
  • Community and Students
    • The College Academy, Citizens Academy, and Red Ribbon Week provide an opportunity for the community to better understand how the criminal justice system works.
  • Crime Prevention & Training
    • Through programs like the Gang Summit, Most Wanted Fugitives, and Riverside's Top 10 Cases we emphasize the most vicious crimes and criminals in our community and show what law enforcement is doing not only to deliver justice, but to keep our neighborhoods safe.
  • Legislation
    • In an effort to further protect our community our office collaborates and actively participates in legislation that affects public safety.
  • Media Relations
    • The PIO team works with the media in each region of the county to ensure that residents are apprised of current office events, cases, or public safety issues.
  • Employee Enrichment
    • Internal programs, such as our annual awards banquet "Program Rewarding Incentive of District Attorney Employees" (PRIDE), Burgers with the Boss, family picnic, and the office newsletter allow for greater camaraderie among staff.
